Writer · Director · Producer
Comedy, from the first idea to the screen.

Hayley Heneghan
I'm Hayley Heneghan, a writer, director and producer in Los Angeles. I make branded comedy, sketch and original series, with hands-on experience in performance and editing.
A script is only the beginning.
At WOAH, I've helped develop Anvil campaigns from the concept and script through casting, production and post. My work ranges from connected-TV commercials to a mockumentary about office paper. Eight years of Chicago improv also inform how I write and work with a performance.
Anvil · Connected-TV campaign
Commercial production.
I co-wrote and co-produced these Anvil spots as part of a $30K connected-TV campaign with a cast and crew of at least 17 people. My responsibilities included casting, talent relations, wardrobe, props and locations.
Before Coffee
The second spot in the connected-TV campaign.
Original comedy
Series & sketches.
Original characters, product-launch parodies and a true-crime mystery about paper. These projects bring together my writing, production and performance work.
Who's Using the Paper?
I co-created, co-wrote and co-produced this comedy mockumentary, and played several characters. Watch the series teaser.
Introducing Fork
A tech-launch film for a very familiar piece of cutlery.
Too much realism?
A sketch I directed, co-wrote, co-produced and performed in.
Additional production work
Editing & generated media.
I also cut social videos in Premiere Pro and plan generated imagery and video for creative campaigns. These examples show the different parts I've handled.
The real heroes of our time
A music video I edited from real-camera shoot footage for Anvil’s Carbon Copy campaign.
Case studyAI image & video production
A look at how I planned coverage and revised generated campaign assets for continuity, clear action and an editor's needs.
